To get them excited about reading. one strategie could be to just tell kids they can read anything they are interested. You don't just say i want you to read this book because they may not like the same books you like and that makes them not want to read. Also adults could try to make reading more fun. Instead of just reading on and on do somethind fun like partern read or do a play that will get kids to want to read. Another thing we could do is tell kids if they want to have a good jod or go to collage in the future they should read. Nobody's going to hire someone who can't read or they tell the person who is interveiwing them or collage they can't read they will say ok you an still come to this school.Reading is important.
